Arrival and transportation
In accordance with our sustainability measures, where our main target is to reduce flight milage for international athletes, we have mainly recruited participants traveling from nearby countries. We need to collect information about where the international athletes are traveling from, and request that you all fill out this form regarding travel. We are also collecting WhatsApp-numbers in the same form to send out train tickets to internationals where this is agreed upon.
From Oslo Airport
Invited athletes may use the Airport Express Train. Tickets for the airport express train will be made available by WhatsApp. Please provide your number in the form above.
Oslo Airport – Hotel Scandic Solli
Most invited athletes are accommodated at Scandic Solli (your hotel will be assigned by e-mail). How to get to the hotel: walk to the Airport Express Train (Flytoget). Take the train bound for Drammen and jump of at Nationaltheatret station to get to the hotel. Take the western exit when you get of the platform (same direction that the train is driving), and walk the three minutes to the hotel from there: Google maps-directions.
Torp Airport – Hotel Scandic Solli
Take the shuttle bus from the airport to the train station, and then take the train to Oslo. Jump of at Nationaltheatret station to get to the hotel. Take the western exit when you get of the platform (same direction that the train is driving), and walk the three minutes to the hotel from there: Google maps-directions. Note: This train track is undergoing maintenance. There will be “bus for train” for some stretches of the way.
Meals
Breakfast
At the hotel: 06.30 – 09.30
Lunch and Dinner
Invited athletes will be handed two coupons value of 400 NOK. These can be used at Deilig Sushi, 2 minutes from the hotel, for dinner Tuesday and lunch Wednesday.
Barbecue dinner Wednesday
After the meet there will be a barbecue for all athletes. This event will take place in the Seb Coe room at Bislett Stadium. Burgers is priced at 60 NOK for non-invited athletes.
Thon Hotel Gyldenløve
Some Nordic athletes will be assigned Thon Hotel Gyldenløve as their hotel

We encourage using public transport. Below is a description of transportation.
Scandic Solli Hotel to Bislett Stadium
Tickets for public transportation (24 hours) will be handed to invited athletes at check in. The ticket enables you to travel by bus, tram, Subway, train and boat in Oslo.
From Scandic Solli Hotel, there is a two-minute walk to the bus stop. The bus departures every 7-8 minute.

IK Tjalves training centre
Weightlifting-facilities and treadmills at Tjalve’s training centre in Underhaugsveien 1. Drop-in until 16.00. From 16.00 – 20.00, please make an appointment to use the facilities on WhatsApp 0047 45204125.
Physiotherapy
July 1st and 2nd necessary treatment must be booked in advance at Dr. Dropin Fysikalske Bislett, Dalsbergstien 18, via this site: Dr. Dropin. If all slots are booked, contact physiotherapist Therese Skjølsvik directly by calling: +47 99326230.

Entrance from Martinius Lørdahls plass. We encourage you to use public transportation to the meeting.
We remind you that Bislett Stadium is an environmentally friendly arena and ask everyone to contribute to recycling at the stadium.
Final confirmations and bibs
Final confirmation and bib collection will must be done in the TIC no later than 90 minutes before the first heat in your track event, and no later than 60 minutes before your field event. TIC is located under the grandstand, close to the finish line.
Each competitor will receive two bibs when registering. In lane- and throwing disciplines these must be pinned to the front and back of the competition clothing. For 800m, 1500m and 5000m the bib with number should be pinned to the front of the competition clothing, and the bib with name to the back. In the jumping events the competitors are permitted to attach only the name bib, to the front or to the back of their competition clothing.
Coach accreditations, personal throwing implements and call room.
Coach Accreditations: Coach accreditations will be distributed at entrance 2, Bislett Stadion. Maximum one coach accreditation per athlete.
Personal throwing implements: Control of personal throwing equipment will take place in the technical information center (TIC), which is located under the grandstand, close to the finish line. This must be done no later than 60 minutes before the start of the event.
Call room: The call room is located right outside the TIC. Timetable with Call room times will be published later and hung up by the Call room and in the warm up hall.
Warm up
Warm-up for all events will take place on the running track under the stands, in the sprint hall under the stands on the back straight, or outside the stadium. For the technical events, warm up throws/jumps will take place at the competition site prior to the start of the competition.
Wavelight pacer
WaveLight Technologies will be used for pacing. With this system we will be able to set several paces on the middle and long distance races. The schedule for the different lights in each heat will be published at the stadium.
Time table
Final Confirmation
All athletes are asked to do their final confirmation digitally. This is done via a link that will be sent out the day before the meet. You must confirm digitally 2 hours before your start time. If you do not recieve the link or experience technical issues, you can confirm at the meet office located under the grand stand. This must be done at least 90 minutes before your start time.
Placing Score
For the global championships you either qualify through Entry standard or In World Rankings quota. For In World Rankings quota placing score is of importance. Boysen Memorial has C status and awards the following points.
In A-events, only the eight best athletes in the A-race/final will receive points ranking points (Men’s 800 meters, Women’s 800 meters, Women’s 400 meters hurdles, (Men’s hammer)). The B, C, D, E-races will be regarded as national events, and will not receive C-category points, only basic F-category points.
In B-events (all other events), the eight(8) best in the summery of all results will get the C-ranking points.

Prize money

Boysen Award
The prize goes to the male runner who equals or beats Audun Boysen’s legendary record of 1:45.90 on 800m, a time that stood as the Norwegian record for 37 years. The award will also be given to women who run faster than 2:01.00. Only one person per gender can win the award.
The prize is 10 000 NOK which is approx. 1 000 EUR.
Prize money will be paid out by invoice sent by athletes’ agent, club, or federation. If the athletes have no way of getting an organisation to invoice for them, they will be deducted a 15% tax fee if the payment is made directly to the athlete. If invoiced by agent, club or federation no fee is deducted. Athletes who need to be paid directly as detailed above, have to fill out tax forms in the TIC before leaving the stadium. LINK.
